As I've spoken with people I have been asked "how can I help"? Well, you can help in 4 ways:1. Allow me to place a yard sign in your yard. Just shoot me an email with your address: gzcastro@yahoo.com (I'll deliver and take down)2. Get the word out! Forward this blog, or write an email, to your friends and contacts who live in Edina.3. If you are involved with any groups who can offer endorsements, please consider me for any upcoming meeting you may have. I'd love the opportunity to talk to folks!4. Vote CASTRO on November 5.A bit about me and why I want to serve Edina as a School Board MemberAs a native Minnesotan, and a product of the Public School System I believe in the ability of our schools to prepare our children for future successes. My husband and I decided to buy a home in Edina primarily because of the schools. You see, we have young children and will be utilizing Edina Public Schools for the next 11 years. I am deeply vested in the success of these schools. As a board member I will work to ensure that our schools continue to excel while always looking to the future so that generations to come can say, with pride, that they are graduates of Edina. What I bring to the table is tireless drive and dedication with a very strong background in Business Development and Sales Strategy. I enjoy being involved with my children’s education and have served as class parent for both of my children, as well as holding multiple positions on past PTO’s.I look forward to serving the Edina community and using my dedication and commitment to ensure that all of our children get the very best education that we can provide for generations to come.As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. Until November 5, take care and be well!

Gayle Castro for Edina School Board - Get the Word Out!
Gayle Castro attends Edina League of Women's Voters Event
On September 24, 2013 I was fortunate enough to have been invited to participate in the League of Women Voters Edina candidate forum for Edina School Board.
This event was very well organized and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to answer community questions.
This event was video recorded and can be viewed on Edina Community Channel 16 and the City of Edina's website.
